Part-Time Social Media & Events Assistant
Location: Cambridgeshire & Suffolk (with travel required)
Hours: 8-10 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Are you passionate about social media, content creation, and dance? Join our vibrant team at 4D Dance as a Social Media & Events Assistant and help us bring the joy of dance to the digital world! This part-time role offers flexible hours, perfect for someone creative, organised, and social media-savvy.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Develop engaging and high-quality content (photos, videos, stories, reels) for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok that showcases our classes, events, and community.
Social Media Management: Schedule and post content regularly, maintaining consistent brand messaging and tone across all platforms.
Community Engagement: Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build relationships with our online audience.
Event Co-Ordinating: Booking upcoming dance events, public performances, and promotions, liaising with event organisers and the 4D team.
Event Support: Attend selected events to capture live content (photos, videos, behind-the-scenes footage).
Performance Tracking: Monitor social media metrics and report on engagement, reach, and growth.
Requirements:
Experience with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok (knowledge of social media trends and tools is a plus!)
Creative eye for photography and video content
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to travel to different event locations (travel costs will be reimbursed)
A passion for dance or interest in the performing arts is highly preferred!
Whilst it’s great to have formal work experience, we know that some of the best social media gurus are self-taught content creators who just love all things social media. Because of this, we aren’t asking for specific social media work experience. Instead, we’d love to see any social media work you’ve done previously, even if it's your own social media pages or projects!
